School-aged children always 1/2 price. Seniors (65+) $1 discount.

When combined with tour of Great Camp Sagamore, a Cruise on Raquette Lake makes an exciting and educational venture we offer as the Sagamore & Sail tour.

Within twenty minutes driving time of each other, the two attractions together provide you with a comprehensive tour through a period in American history known as the Gilded Age, an era when fabulous country estates were conceived and built for the truly wealthy in the heart of the Adirondacks so American "aristocrats" like J.P. Morgan and Alfred Vanderbilt might escape the summer heat and live in luxury in the most remote wilderness. Sagamore’s magnificent grounds and buildings have been in the public eyewith the release of the spy movie Good Shepherd in December of 2006. Producer Robert DeNiro chose Sagamore as the place to recreate the Yale camp, Deer Island, that once stood in the Thousand Islands. Sagamore makes its movie entrance as a crane shot swoops down on the lawn party in front of the Main Lodge where stars Matt Damon, Angelina Jolie and William Hurt are sipping cocktails. Secrets are told in the Playhouse and Gloria’s Cottage.Mists arise in front of the Boat House. Ah, the grand and glorious days of Hollywood fame!
